Ashley Fisher reached out to me with the exciting news that she she was diving in head first and fulfilling her passions by starting an event planning business. Knowing the importance of a cohesive look across mediums, Ashley was in need of a logo and other branding materials. Her business name, Blue Moon Events, called for a logo featuring a moon, but Ashley was also very specific about what she was looking for including wanting to feature a stylized tree with falling leaves into the design. I mimicked the moon shape in creating a simple tree, as well as utilized this same moon shaped design element to create the leaves. I utilized a modern bridal color palette that featured an ethereal blue mixed with other taupes and neutrals and paired modern Brandon Grotesque with serif Hoefler Text in Italic to mimic trending design elements seen in wedding invitations. The end result was a calming, ethereal, and unique brand identity that helped her stand out from her competitors.
